The IATA World Passenger Symposium 2014 took place in San Diego from the 15th to the 17th Oct. The event is billed as the premier “must attend” event in the aviation industry. One of the many event highlights is the Passenger Innovation Awards. There were 76 applications from around the world covering a multitude of ideas. Competitors ranges from Airlines to GDS’s through to start-ups and conceptual idea, the competition is intense.
The Passenger Innovation Awards is an initiative that aims to ignite new ideas in the passenger world. The ideas should meet at certain criteria, such as improve passenger experience, or reduce or drive improvements to simplify existing processes or decrease costs.
The voting was part (50%) judges and part (50%) conference delegates of aviation industry professionals. We are delighted to win an award that reaffirms our software by industry professionals.
